Our 4-inch sliding winches are engineered to move easily in both directions along the track on flatbed trailers. The winch is designed to tighten winch straps to the desired strength to hold some of the heaviest cargo on the roads safely in place. One of the major benefits of using slider winches is the replacement cost of using winch straps over time compared to ratchet straps which are much more expensive to replace as they require heavy ratchet hardware to tighten the straps into place.
This 4-inch slider winch is designed to work with 2-inch, 3-inch, or 4-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing. It features a 15,000 lbs minimum breaking strength and a safe working load limit rating of 5,000 lbs. Another benefit of this 4-inch slider winch is it also doubles as the weld-on winch and can be welded in place for a more permanent installation solution. 4-inch slider winches are primarily used for flatbed trailers but can also be used in other applications.
