4 inch Ratchet Straps for Flatbed Trailers

4-inch Ratchet Straps are designed for use with Flatbed trailers to secure some of the heaviest and oversized cargo loads on the roadways. It is critical when securing extremely heavy and oversized cargo that safety is the number one priority and that begins by using reputable heavy-duty 4-inch ratchet straps.

4-inch Ratchet Straps are made from extremely heavy-duty and durable 4-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing that provides great amounts of strength with very little stretching to ensure the cargo secured does not move or slide out of place while on the road. Our heavy-duty 4-inch webbing features an incredible 24,000 lbs breaking strength and provides the highest levels of durability for when it matters the most.

Polyester webbing is the perfect webbing for flatbeds and open-air transportation as the strap is water-resistant and designed to help keep your belt safe against harmful UV rays from the sun. Our 4-inch Ratchet Straps are designed for being exposed outside to the elements for long periods of time while on the road. The polyester material that is used is highly rigid which makes it perfect for securing heavy cargo that is susceptible to load shifts. One of the best ways to keep your straps in like new condition is with the use of corner protectors that help keep your straps long-lasting against sharp corners and edges that could cause damage to the webbing of the strap over time.

As a leading manufacturer of custom ratchet straps in the United States, we have the knowledge and tools to help make the perfect strap with options such as end fittings, custom lengths, the color of webbing, and optional brand stenciling to fit your application needs. How to Tighten a Ratchet Strap Instructions

1). From the bottom of the ratchet hardware thread webbing from the center spool of the ratchet hardware. Pull webbing through in order to remove the excess slack
2). Next, begin cranking the ratchet handle to the desired tightness. Be careful not to overtighten or not tighten your cargo enough you ideally want to remove the slack and crank the ratchet handle 2-3 additional times to prevent overtightening.
3). Once the excess slack in the webbing is removed and the desired strength is reached ensure the ratchet hardware handle is completely closed to make sure your cargo does not become unsecured.

How to Release a Ratchet Strap Instructions

1). Open Ratchet Hardware until it is completely flat, grab webbing from the nonfixed side and pull to release the webbing.
2). Pull the ratchet release mechanism to close the ratchet hardware in between securing.
3). Next, roll the strap to keep it neatly organized and place it into a dry location that is away from moisture such as a cabinet, storage bin, ziplock bag, or duffle bag to keep it safe for the next use.
